Client Paralyzed From Fall On Construction Site
Our client was working on a second story deck as a carpenter attaching skirting to the upper beams. There was a temporary rail along the front of the deck and he was working behind moving towards the end. Unfortunately the short temporary rail at the end of the deck had been removed and our client was not aware, stepped off and fell to the ground below, breaking his neck and leaving him paralyzed from the mid-chest down. We have brought suits against various sub contractors who may have been responsible for removing the temporary railing and not replacing it.

Wage and Hour Claims
We have a claim against American Cabulance, a company that picks up disabled persons to transport them to various appointments. In that case the drivers begin their work day with the company vans at their homes, and we are claiming our clients should be paid for their travel time between their homes and the first stop of the day as well as time at the end of the day.

Junk Fax Cases
Several cases are pending against various companies that send unsolicited facsimiles advertising their products or serves.

Automated Dialing and Announcing Devices

Class actions are pending against Capital One Options and Automotive Warranty, companies that broadcast prerecorded telephone solicitations to our class representatives. The claim against Capital One Options has been removed by the defendant to Federal Court because over $5,000,000 of damages are at issue.

Home Loan Payoff Cases
Lenders sometimes charge unnecessary or improper fees when a borrower seeks to pay off the loan because they have sold their home or refinanced. We have pending class action suits against American General, Kitsap Federal Credit Union, Homecomings, Chevy Chase. The fees, usually between $25.00 and $50.00 should be paid, we believe, by the lender, not the borrower.

Class Action Against Amazon
We represent an attorney as a class representative who bought a Motorola BlueTooth headset for his cell phone through Amazon. The purchase was through Amazon’s webpage but the product was delivered to him from a third party vendor. Unfortunately the headset was a counterfeit.
